You made the right choice. From this point forward, Weinstein legal team represents you and we take that responsibility seriously. Once the agreement was signed, your case officially opened and we stepped into the role of your legal representatives. This is when we deep dive into your case and we start fighting for you. We look at who's at fault. We review all available evidence, and we consider all of the facts to see if you have a case. Most of the time after this review, the evidence allows us to move forward confidently. In some situations, however, our review of the evidence may show that a claim is not legally supported. If that's the case, we explain it to you clearly. We provide honest feedback, and we provide it early so that it protects you from pursuing a path that may not lead to a meaningful result. We immediately notify all insurance companies that we represent you, and request policy information to see what coverages are available. There must be certain coverages available for you to have a case. Adjusters are also directed to communicate with us, not you. If recorded statements are requested. We evaluate whether they are appropriate before anything proceeds. We begin formally requesting all documentation from many sources crash reports, medical records, billing summaries, and insurance policy information. There are additional legal deadlines that apply in injury cases as well. Opening your case ensures those timelines are tracked and protected from the very beginning. Strong cases are built carefully in these early stages. Much of the work involves gathering documents, verifying coverage, and preserving evidence. You'll receive regular updates from your attorneys and case managers so you understand where your case stands. From this point forward, you focus on your recovery and you keep us informed about changes in your condition. We'll handle all of the legal issues. In the next video, we'll walk through evidence what it includes, why gathering it early is vital, and how it strengthens your position from the start.
