The final stage of the settlement journey is resolution. This is where we settle your case for money. Most cases end here. If an agreement is reached, we review the terms with you carefully before anything is finalized. We walk through the numbers and ensure you understand each component, including how medical bills are paid. If there are any balances, what were the case costs and what are our fees? Transparency remains important through the very end of your case. Once the settlement documents are signed, you'll have a nice check ready for you. If the insurance company does not make a fair offer, litigation, which means filing a lawsuit may be necessary. Litigation means moving the case into the court system. It introduces additional steps, and you will be involved in certain aspects, such as filling out written discovery, sitting for a deposition, attending a mediation, and potentially a trial. Most cases don't require filing a lawsuit, but every case is prepared with that possibility in mind. Whether your case resolves through settlement or litigation, you are guided step by step by one of our attorneys. By this point, you should understand what each stage involves for your journey to settlement. We look forward to representing you. You place your trust in the right team and we take that very seriously
